The following is a history of the software enhancements for Cerberus and Orion that are included in the most recent update file. They are listed with the most recent update first.

• CERBERUS – During the data upgrade when upgrading from version 8.5 to 9.5, an error occurs repeatedly.
• ORPHEUS – In Orpheus, the ‘Include Lockup’ forces option is not saved on a project when selected.
• REEL-TRAK – Corrosion due to length of service is not being applied correctly in Reel-Trak since Job Completed is not defined when job is opened.
• STRING MANAGER – When you Save As a string, the string history is not copied, even though Copy History is selected.

• ORPHEUS – Create Orpheus CT project and it doesn't show on Orpheus select tree.
• ORPHEUS – If an Orpheus CT project is saved without a CT selected, the project cannot be opened later.
• ORPHEUS – Run ‘set down and pick up force’, close Orpheus, re-open Orpheus and run it again, but results are different.
• STRING MANAGER – The Fatigue Model window doesn't open when Fatigue Model is clicked from the Configuration window.

• CERBCTRLS – The drag-and-drop functionality on the search-and-organize window in Cerberus controls does not work.
• CERBERUS – Change Rebuild Tree to retain folder/subfolder structure.
• HYDRA – Cerberus 9.5 does not calculate the effect of nozzle-tool pressure properly.
• ORPHEUS – Run-time error ‘Script out of range’ when calculating extended-reach capability in Report Generator.
• ORPHEUS (JP Orpheus) - The 'Forces on Tool' is calculated as 0.
• OTHER – Wireline Editor doesn't accept values when entered in Norwegian regional settings.
• REEL-TRAK – Run-time error '3144' Syntax error in UPDATE statement when saving fatigue in Reel-Trak using Russian regional settings.
• TOOL STRING EDITOR – Error message displayed when trying to delete a tool from toolbox.

• CERBERUS – OleDBException when upgrading an old data directory.
• ORPHEUS – In the automatic Report in Orpheus on the Surface Weight graph, the disconnect high and low are indistinguishable.
• ORPHEUS – The extended-reach calculation will not be run if the user has selected a range of interest less than the well depth.
• ORPHEUS – Yield, disconnect and lockup curves on surface weight plot are unrealistic when only the tool is in the well.
• ORPHEUS – Zoom Out and Scale don't work consistently on the graphs in the Automatic Report.
• PACA – When PACA is launched from Orpheus, the layout of some controls on the form is incorrect.
• REEL-TRAK – Run-time error '13' occurs in Reel-Trak when running with an OrionNET database.
• STRING MANAGER – Change String History form to make it obvious the string has to be unlocked in order to undo.
• WELL EDITOR – The user can't effectively add Casing/Liner sections using the Well Editor in Metric units.
• WELL EDITOR – User is able to save invalid data by closing Well Editor.

Orion 8.0 Enhancements - Release Note History

Helpful Hint: Users can confirm they are operating Orion IV hardware on their unit by opening the Orion enclosure and noting the presence of a Opto 22 module with a silver faceplate that contains the label "ultimate i/o".

8.0.39

• Orion 8 shuts down when the user tries to calibrate an Orion 4 analog channel while removing an entry in the grid, clicking away, and then clicking back.
• Some of the top and bottom information boxes are scrambled and look incomplete when using a laptop with large fonts.
• When entering calibration data, if the user fails to enter either an ‘mA’ value or the display value, and then presses Enter, Orion crashes.

• Error 3001: Invalid argument.[occurred at frmPlayback.ChartData2] when playing back and filtering data.
• Orion 8.0 exporting of data to a CSV fails if a value is NULL in the database.

• If the user deletes the "change exceeding" value in the Job Monitor, result is a runtime error 13.

• In the configuration utility, the associated channel for a calculated rate or a calculated counter was not available using Orion 8.0.31.
